Description
Fineshade is a house dating from the 17th century, which was raised and re-roofed in the 1930s. It is built of coursed ironstone rubble, featuring large blocks at the base of the front wall. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles, and there are brick chimneys on the right side and between the left bays. The house has two storeys and two and a half bays, with a half bay at the left end.
On the ground floor, there are ironstone windows with ovolo-moulded mullions, casement cornices, and leaded glazing. The centre window has three lights, while the right window has two lights. There are single 20th-century leaded lights to the left and between the right bays. The upper storey features three paired 20th-century leaded casements and one matching single light to the left of the centre bay. The door to the half bay is from the 20th century and has a moulded ironstone surround with a casement cornice.
