Description

The retaining wall located south of Number 56 (The Hall) dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar, featuring ashlar coping and ball finials at regular intervals. The wall has an L-shaped plan and includes a semi-circular projection made of ashlar at the center of the southern range.
