Description
The Congregational Church, dated 1814, features a later 19th-century porch and rear additions. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and has a hipped Welsh slate roof. The sides of the building have three round-headed windows and a stone cornice. The west front is adorned with stone bands, a parapet, and a stone cornice. An inscription in a moulded frame reads "Ebenezer. Haec domus ad cultum Dei edificata An Dom 1814. Obsecro Jehova Prospera Nunc." The enclosed porch has a central round-headed entrance with double doors, flanked by round-headed windows, and is supported by pilasters that carry a stone entablature above.
