Description
No. 44 North Street East is an 18th-century house that was extended in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with brick extensions and has a Welsh slate roof. The original block is two storeys high and features a double-fronted design with two window ranges. The entrance consists of a 19th-century panelled door topped by a narrow rectangular fanlight and flanked by moulded pilasters. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars set beneath timber lintels. The northern addition has one similar window on both the ground and first floors.
