Description

The Cottage is a house that may have originally been a barn, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a Collyweston stone slate roof with coped gables and a rebuilt brick stack at the east end. The building has one and a half storeys and includes a range of four windows. There is a central door with a small single light window to the right. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in raised architraves that have keystones. Additionally, there are tall 20th-century gabled dormers that break through the eaves, and a gabled wing extends to the rear.
