No 2 Market Street is an early 19th-century building with a rendered exterior and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features two windows with flat arches and glazing bars. The entrance has a modern glass door, while the shop front dates from the 19th century but includes modern glazing. This building, along with No 11 High Street, forms a group.
