Description

This is an early 19th century house located on the north side of High Street. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and a stone band. The house is three storeys high and has two windows in plain reveals, each featuring a straight arched head and a keystone that also functions as an eaves cornice. A single splayed bay window is present, with a plain frieze and a moulded cornice. A modern shop front now fronts the building, incorporating a six-panel door leading to a passage on the side, featuring a keystone and a blocked fanlight. Numbers 11 to 19 (odd) combine to form a notable group.
