Description

A group of three cottages, dated to the late 17th and 18th centuries. The cottages are built of coursed rubble stone, with a thatched roof to numbers 3 and 5, and a 20th-century tile roof with stone coped gables to number 7. There are two brick ridge stacks and a stone stack at the left end. Numbers 3 and 5 have eyebrow dormers over the doorways, each containing a two-light casement window. The ground floor features a three-light casement window, a doorway, and another three-light casement window. Inside, numbers 3 and 5 have an inglenook fireplace and exposed beams. Number 7 is of two storeys, with two two-light casement windows above a three-light window and a porch with a door. A one-and-a-half storey extension to the left end contains a single-light and a two-light casement window. The modern extension to the right of number 3 is not considered to be of special architectural interest.
