Description

Forge Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century, with possible earlier origins. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a Welsh slate roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, there is a small window, a door beneath a stone lintel, a window beneath a timber lintel in a blocked doorway, another small window, an 8/8 sash window, and another door beneath a timber lintel. The first floor has three 8/8 sash windows. There is a brick addition to the north and a pump on the property. The cottage is included for its group value.
