Description
No 10 is a cottage located on Main Street, likely built in the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed ironstone rubble, which has been repointed in the 20th century, and features gables that have been raised in brick. The roof is covered with 20th-century pantiles, and there is a brick chimney on the left side. The cottage has two storeys and two bays. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements, with a three-light window on the ground floor to the left and two-light windows elsewhere. The lower windows have wooden lintels, while the upper windows, which were previously set in thatch eyebrows, contain small panes. The left gable features a 20th-century half-glazed door and a small fireplace window. This building is included for its group value.
