Description

No. 45 High Street is a 17th century house that has been altered at later dates. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed stone, topped with a steeply pitched stone slate roof and a small parapet. The building is rendered on the site and features two brick chimney stacks from the 18th century. There are four windows with moulded wood flush frames and rendered flat arches, which vary in size and include glazing bars. A modern shop front obscures part of the first floor. To the left, there is an early 19th century door with two glass panels and a rectangular fanlight. Victoria Hall and Nos. 41, 45 to 49 (odd) form a group.
