Description
Neville House is an early 18th-century house located at No. 49 on the north side of High Street. It is two storeys tall and constructed of local red and blue chequered brick. The house features a stone slate roof with stone capped quoins and three gabled dormers. It has a stone plinth and band, along with a moulded wood eaves cornice. The façade includes three windows with flat stone arches that have keystones, flush frames, and plain reveals. The central entrance has a four-panelled door set beneath a straight brick arch with a stone key and a rectangular three-light fanlight, which is topped by a segmental wooden hood supported by brackets.
