Description
The Church of All Saints, built in 1822, is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a shallow-pitched Welsh slate roof. The church consists of a two-bay nave and a one-bay chancel. The south porch is made of ashlar and has a round-headed roll-moulded entrance arch, which is flanked by cylindrical shafts. The capitals of these shafts extend into a stringcourse around the sides of the porch, which also includes a cornice and blocking course above. The entrance has double doors adorned with nail-head decoration. The church features round-headed windows with leaded panes, and the central openings on the north and south sides have casements flanked by shafts similar to those of the porch. There is a raised band at the cill level. Inside, the church contains box pews and a tablet commemorating Joseph Armitage, who bequeathed the funds for the church's construction in 1820.
