Description

A farmhouse and barn, likely originally dating from the mid-17th century, but substantially rebuilt in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse is two storeys high throughout. The left-hand gable of the main facade probably retains elements from the 17th century, featuring coursed rubble and a Welsh slate roof. It contains a two-light stone mullioned window with ovolo moulding and a hoodmould on each floor. Two bays to the right are from the 19th century, constructed in rusticated rubble, with a recessed inner doorway having chamfered jambs, and a three-light chamfered mullioned window beside it. An ashlar stack with quoins is located on the right-hand gable. A rear wing, belonging to the earlier part of the building, has various timber casement windows. An attached barn has stepped buttresses on its rear, north wall.
