Description
Lovick's Place is an 18th-century house located on Audit Hall Road in Empingham. The building is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features rusticated quoins, a plinth, a first-floor band, and stone dressings. It has a 20th-century tiled twin-span roof with four moulded stone end stacks and stone-coped gables. The house is 2½ storeys tall and has three 6/6 sash windows set in moulded stone frames, each adorned with triple keystones. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an overlight that has glazing bars arranged in a diamond pattern. Above, there are three 2-light dormers. To the left, there is a one-storey extension that includes a 2-light casement window, garage doors, and a stone truncated end stack. This building was formerly known as The Rectory.
