Description
This garden summerhouse, located 25 meters west of number 14A, was built in the mid-19th century for Alderman Thomas Herbert. It is constructed of brick and rendered, featuring a pyramidal pantile roof with a plain tile verge and a finial. The building has a plinth and corner pilasters, is single storey plus basement, and consists of a single bay. The sides are panelled and include rebated round-arched windows with keystones, along with a plain doorway. This summerhouse serves as a garden feature within the grounds of Herbert's house in the Ropewalk, which is not included in this listing.
