2 houses, now reading room and offices. c1850. Stucco with slate roof and central brick ridge stack. Plinth, renewed wooden eaves cornice. 3 storeys; 4 window range. Windows are mainly original glazing bar sashes with moulded surrounds. In the centre, 2 windows on each floor, the ground floor windows altered. Side bays, defined by pilasters under open pediments, have moulded doorcases with cornices and margin glazed doors. Above, a margin light round-arched window on each floor.
