Description

The boundary wall to numbers 43 and 45 on Mapperley Road is a Grade II listed structure built around 1865. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a blue lias stone band. The wall features a moulded ramped coping and has a square pier on the right, complete with a plinth and rebated corners. It is likely that the wall was originally topped with a railing. This structure is included in the listing for its group value with the adjacent buildings.
