Description
The churchyard wall and gateways at the Church of St Leodegarius were built around 1858. The wall is made of coursed squared stone and features gabled and rubble coping. It encloses the north and west sides of the churchyard, running parallel to Church Street and Western Boulevard. The wall stands approximately 1.5 meters high and is about 140 meters long. At the junction, there are a pair of square ashlar gate piers topped with pyramidal caps, which support wrought-iron double gates. On the north side, directly opposite the north porch, there is a smaller gateway with a single gate. This structure is included for its group value.
