Description
This is a terrace of ten town houses and shops, dating from around 1845, with later 19th-century alterations and a restoration in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick with brick dressings, topped with slate roofs and featuring five gable and ridge stacks. The terrace has three storeys and originally had ten windows on each front, though this pattern varies with the shopfronts. The ground floor now contains shopfronts, two of which have 19th-century cornices. Number 107 retains a restored wooden corner shopfront and doorway. The upper floors are characterised by regular, mostly original, sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a brick flat arch. The first-floor windows have cast-iron balconies. The second-floor windows are smaller than those below. Number 107 has a rounded corner with two blank windows. A single window is visible on the left return side of the building.
