Description

No. 20 St James' Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It was built around 1750, refenestrated around 1870, and underwent restoration and alterations around 1990. The building is made of red brick and features a slate roof with coped gables. It has a renewed wooden eaves cornice and stands three storeys tall, with a five-window range of margin light sashes that have brick flat arches. Above this, there are three similar sashes. The full-width wooden shopfront, added around 1990, is designed in a style reminiscent of the late 19th century.
