Description
12 Guildhall Lane is a late 18th-century building constructed of painted brick with a slate hipped roof featuring paired brackets at the wide eaves. The structure stands three storeys tall and has three windows with irregular spacing. It includes segmental brick arches, with the left-hand side being blank and the right-hand windows blocked. The central window has been replaced by modern casements. A band runs at the first-floor level. The ground floor is stuccoed and features two segmental arches with keyblocks, along with sashes that do not have glazing bars. There is a central 19th-century panelled doorcase with a cornice supported by brackets, leading to a fielded panel door. The right-hand return faces St Martin's East and has two windows made of exposed red brick, with a moulded brick string course at the first-floor level. This building, along with Nos 2 to 12 (even), St Martin's Cathedral, the Guildhall, and No 20 Loseby Lane, forms a group.
