Description

No 20 on Loseby Lane is an early 19th-century building made of red brick with a slate hipped roof. It stands three storeys tall on a corner site, featuring three windows on each front. The second floor has small sash windows with glazing bars set within segmental brick arches and exposed casings, along with sills. The first floor showcases larger sash windows without glazing bars, which are topped with rubbed brick segmental arches and large keyblocks, also with sills. The ground floor has late 19th-century shop fronts on both elevations, complete with panelled pilasters and a modillion cornice, and a modern corner door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 14 (even) and Nos 18 and 20, as well as a listed building in Guildhall Lane.
