Description
This is a section of a churchyard wall located to the southwest of the church, fronting Castle View. It is likely from the 18th century and constructed of red brick, featuring brick piers at the gateway topped with stone caps and engineering brick ramp coping. Additionally, there is a section of stone wall, probably from the late medieval period, which has been patched with red brick at the base and also has engineering brick coping. This wall is part of a group of listed buildings that includes those on Castle Street, Castle View, and Castle Yard, as well as Skeffington House, the Iron Gates, Chantry House, and Newarke Wall, all situated in The Newarke.
