Description

This is a small, three-story red brick house dating from the mid-18th century. It has a wood eaves cornice supported by paired modillions and is decorated with moulded brick bands. The facade has three windows, each with a segmental brick arch and sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor window on the left has margin lights. A central wooden doorcase features a moulded dentil open pediment and narrow pilaster strips, along with a semi-circular fanlight with gothic glazing bars, leading to a six-panel door. The roof is slate-covered with gabled and half-hipped ends. The interior contains a good, simple staircase of the period, featuring turned newels and balusters. The building is adjacent to Jester House.
