Description

The remains of Cavendish House date from around 1600 and were burnt in 1645. It is reputed to have been constructed using materials from the nearby Abbey. The site features one tall stone rubble wall that includes stone mullioned and transomed windows, as well as a round-arch light at the center. There are also fragments of the other walls visible. A late 19th century addition is present on the site.
