Description

This is a late 18th-century red brick building located on the east side of Market Place. It is three storeys high and has one window. A large, shallow round-arched recess extends across all three storeys. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, although the first-floor window has been replaced with a modern casement. Each window is set within a flat brick arch. The roof is slate-covered, and a moulded eaves cornice runs along the top. A tall, modern ground-floor bank front, constructed of stone, has been added. The building is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Market Place.
