Description

A row of seven estate workers' cottages, built around 1790. The cottages are constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and have slate roofs, featuring six brick ridge stacks. They stand on a plinth and are two storeys high with seven windows facing southwest. The front features central and outer canted bay windows, each with ashlar sills, jambs, and lintels, and containing multi-paned windows; the central and left bays have sash windows, and the right bay has UPVC casements. Between these bays are two three-light windows with multi-paned windows, except for the rightmost, which has 20th-century casements. Above the windows are former three-light multi-paned casements, some of which have been replaced, with two small inserted windows.
