GV II

Pair of shrine-like tomb chests. Of uncertain date but possibly pre-Norman. Much-weathered square-cut sandstone bases with gabled thick stone slate roofs of 2 courses with Gothic roll-moulded coping. Pevsner, Yorkshire West Riding, (1974), p558.
