Description
The dairy attached to the rear of Home Farmhouse is a mid-19th century structure, now used for storage. It is built from slightly pitched-faced, coursed, squared stone and features a stone slate roof. This single-storey, octagonal building has a short wing that connects it to the farmhouse. The wing includes an arched doorway with a chamfered surround and one window with ornamental coloured glazing. The main building has similar windows on alternate faces. It is topped with a pyramidal roof that has a lead ventilator. Inside, there are panelled reveals at the window openings and a double doorway leading into a passage, which also has similar glazing. The ceiling is moulded but is now partly collapsed.
