Description
The gate piers at the entrance to the car park in front of Walton Hall are likely from the early 19th century. They are made of ashlar and are square in shape, featuring channelled stonework. The piers have a carved frieze that is decorated with linked circles and were originally topped with bases for ball finials, which are now missing. These piers are included in the listing for their group value.
