Description
This barn, located approximately 10 metres northeast of Elmsall Lodge Farmhouse, dates back to around 1800. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with quoins and features a pantiled roof with stone slate eaves courses. The barn has a rectangular five-bay plan. The south front includes a segmental arched cart entrance, which is flanked by slit vents and boarded hatches set under stone lintels. The rear of the barn has an opposing cart entrance. This building is included for its group value.
