Description

The forecourt walls to number 71, located on the west side of Northgate, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They consist of a low red brick wall topped with stone coping that ramps up slightly at the ends, leading to low square piers featuring a stone frieze and cornice. At the north end of the forecourt, there is a similar but taller wall.
