Farmhouse, altered to public house. Early-mid C19 (known to have been a public house in 1822). Hammer-dressed stone, Welsh blue-slate roof. 2-cell direct-entry plan into 1st cell. 2 storeys. Three 1st-floor windows. Doorway has lintel with incised voussoirs flanked by canted-bay windows (probably added when converted to an inn) with plinths and projecting stone sills, timbered windows and cornice. 1st-floor windows have projecting sills that to centre blind and probable that it formerly held the inn sign (replaced by the modern swinging one). Added wooden eaves, bracketed cornice supports gutter. Gable stacks. Prominent within the village.
