Description
The Old Parsonage is a former farmhouse that was altered to become a parsonage and is now a house. It dates from the early to mid-18th century, with a mid to late 19th-century extension added when it became a parsonage. The building is constructed of dressed stone and has a Welsh blue-slate roof.
The original house is two storeys high and features three first-floor windows. The doorway, which has raised monolithic jambs, is located between the second and third bays. The windows have plain-stone raised surrounds, with 20-pane sash windows on the ground floor and smaller 15-pane sash windows above on the first floor. There is a coped gable to the right with a stone ridge stack, a stack at the junction of the first and second bays, and a former gable stack to the left at the junction with the Victorian extension, which is not of special interest.
