House now shop with dwelling over. Mid C19. Ashlar magnesian limestone, Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys; 2-bay front with 4-bay left return facing The Shambles. Cross Street facade has renewed ground-floor ashlar-work replacing removed shop front of which a wooden cornice on consoles survives. Pilaster strips to each side have plinths and are linked by floor bands. 1st floor: sill band to two sashes with glazing bars beneath plain lintels. 2nd floor has similar windows, that to bay 1 is blind. Moulded eaves cornice. Hipped roof with stack at eaves on right shared with adjacent property (No. 4, q.v.). Left return: plinth; panelled door and overlight to bay 2 otherwise plain casements with projecting stone sills and flat arches. 1st floor: bays 1 and 4 have sashes with glazing bars in openings as ground floor; blind windows to bays 2 and 3. 2nd floor: smaller sashes with glazing bars to bays 1 and 2; blind windows to bays 3 and 4. Paired wooden gutter brackets.
