Description
This is a barn with end byres located to the south-west of Crag House, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a 20th-century corrugated sheet roof. The barn consists of three bays and has quoins at the corners. There is a central cart entrance with quoined jambs and a high shallow segmental arch, along with flanking square openings. The end byre doors have tie-stone jambs and plain lintels. A square hay door has been modified with a lowered sill to create a loft doorway on the upper floor to the right, and there are three square vents positioned below the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
