Description
Vine Cottage and Yew Tree Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800. They are constructed of brick and feature a low-pitched stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows on the front, with wide segmental brick arches above the ground floor windows. The upper floor of Vine Cottage originally had two-light sliding casements with glazing bars, but these have been replaced with small-pane casements, although a side-sliding sash window remains on the far right. The frames of Yew Tree Cottage on the left have been replaced with casements, and it also includes a modern glazed porch and plain doorways. Both cottages have brick chimney stacks. At the rear, facing the road, there are single-storey outshuts with stone roofs. The interior has not been inspected.
