Description
The Parish Church of St John is an Anglican church built between 1824 and 1826, with the chancel enlarged in 1885. Designed by Thomas Taylor, it is in the Gothic Revival style and constructed of ashlar with slate roofs. The church is small and features large plain lancet windows, a three-stage tower with a stone broach spire that has lucarnes, a moulded parapet, and flat buttresses. The layout includes a nave and aisles combined, a chancel, transepts, a south porch, and a west tower. The interior has not been inspected.
