Description
The boundary wall, gate piers, and gates on the south side of St John's Churchyard were built around 1830, likely by Thomas Taylor. The wall is made of coursed squared gritstone and measures approximately 70 meters long and 2 meters high, featuring a moulded coping. At the west end, the gate piers are square and have pointed arched recessed panels with moulding beneath pyramid capstones. The gates are two-leaf, with bars, dog-bars, and scrolled decoration.
