Description
This lych gate, located approximately 100 metres west of the Church of Holy Trinity, was built around 1849 and is likely designed by W. Railton. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof in the Gothic Revival style. The structure has a square plan with a steep-pitched roof and tall gables on each side. It includes a cusped moulded archway and paired wooden gates with strap hinges. Inside, there is a stone vault adorned with bosses, segmental-arched niches, and a bench on each side.
