Description
The Beckett Family Mausoleum, located immediately east of the Church of Holy Trinity in Meanwood, was built around 1850 and is attributed to the architect W Railton. This family vault is designed in the High Victorian Gothic Revival style and constructed from ashlar stone. It features a battered plinth and a stone pyramidal roof adorned with crockets, lucarnes, gables, and gabled niches that contain carved flower heads and the Beckett family coat of arms. The entrance to the mausoleum is situated below ground on the west side, and there are no visible dates or inscriptions on the structure.
