Brick and terracotta, slate roof. 3 storeys with attics, 5 bays, corner site with narrow angled bay and 1-bay left return (No.60 Briggate). Ground floor: late C20 shop facade, entrance to chambers far right with segmental hood. 1st floor: cross windows, those to outer bays flanked by narrow lights, banded pilasters; 2nd-floor fenestration similar, dentilled sill and cornice band; attic storey: elaborately moulded entablatures and segmental pediments above dormers, bays 1 & 4, moulded and pierced parapet between surmounted by urns. Left return as front, elaborate dormer provides strong corner emphasis. INTERIOR: not inspected.
