Description
The farmhouse and outbuildings date from the 18th century. The farmhouse is a two-storey stone building with a stone slate roof and stacks at the gable ends. It has two windows with stone mullions of two lights each on both floors, all with stone architraves. The lower floor windows have modern glass, and there's a stone architrave to the front door. The farmhouse features kneelers. The farm buildings, constructed from the same materials and dating to the same period, are located in the yard. In the 19th century, the building was apparently used as an inn, 'The Wilson’s Arms,’ and was operated by Joseph Davey, a farmer, in 1851. It stood alongside the Leeds-Otley Turnpike Road.
