Description

This building, located at 2-18 Haley's Yard in Bramley, is a house with attached cottages at the rear and a further range of workshops and warehousing beyond. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and has been altered in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed squared gritstone, with hammer-dressed stone on the house front, and features slate and stone slate roofs.

No. 333 Upper Town Street is a two-storey building with three windows and a hipped roof that has an ashlar corniced chimney at the center. It has a coved stone eaves cornice and a central door with an overlight in a plain surround, flanked by sash windows on the ground floor, which have been replaced with 20th-century casements.

On the left side, facing Haley's Yard, there are two-storey terraced houses (Nos. 2-10 and 16-18) that have plain stone surrounds to their doorways, with plain sills and lintels for the windows, all now featuring 20th-century casements.

The industrial building (Nos. 12 and 14) has a stone slate hipped roof and three wide round-arched entrances on the ground floor, two of which are partially blocked. These entrances have keystones and impost blocks. There are central loading doors on the first and second floors, with a timber hood at eaves level. The first floor has tall windows, some of which are blocked, while the second floor features four paired windows with flat-faced mullions, as well as additional windows on the rear facade.

The interior has not been inspected.
