Description
The dovecote and attached stables date from the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with the stables featuring a stone slate roof, while the dovecote, which is taller and lacks a roof, is lined with brick nesting boxes. The single-storey stable is located to the left of the dovecote and has three doorways with tie-stone jambs, along with a small window positioned between the first two doors. The dovecote has random openings, and the rear side includes two food chutes, likely intended for pigs in the basement, with a columbarium situated above. This structure is included for its group value.
