Description
No 7 Manor House Public House and No 9 are late 18th century or early 19th century buildings located on the south side of Cross Green. They are two storeys high, constructed of stone with a stone slate roof and stone stacks. The façade features four windows with stone architraves, and No 9 has two hung sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are three windows, with one in No 9 also being a hung sash with glazing bars. The entrance to No 9 has a four-panel door set in a stone architrave, topped by a rectangular fanlight. No 7 has a similar doorway with a six-panel door. There is a kneeler to the right. Nos 7 to 11 (odd) and Caley House form a group with Nos 1 to 5 (odd), Nos 65 and 67 Boroughgate, and Nos 4 to 8 (even).
