Description
No 25 on Cross Green is an 18th-century dwelling house that stands three storeys tall, constructed from stone and topped with a stone slate roof. The building features three windows across its width, with the cills of the first and second floor windows integrated into plain string courses. A central doorway is adorned with an architrave and a keystone, while the windows flanking the doorway also feature keystones. The entrance has a modern glass door. Although the house is a straightforward example of its period, it remains largely unaltered aside from the removal of its glazing bars. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 25 to 29 (odd) and 37 to 45 (odd).
