Description

Fairseat Cottage is a small house dating to the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed, squared magnesian limestone with a Welsh slate roof. The two-storey, three-window front features large quoins. A central panelled door is set within a stone architrave topped by a cornice without consoles. Flanking the door are canted bay windows with sashes containing eight, sixteen, and eight panes respectively. The three first-floor windows, each with sixteen panes, have projecting sills and altered quoined reveals. Rendered end stacks are visible, with the stack on the right shared with the adjacent property.
