Description

Willow Green is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar magnesian limestone with a Westmorland slate roof. The property originally comprised three bays, with later additions to the rear. The central doorway features six panels and an overlight, sheltered by a wooden porch with Doric columns, a plain frieze and cornice. Cellar openings are arched, with sashes and glazing bars beneath projecting stone sills, flush wooden architraves, and flat arches. The ground floor windows are in a similar style. The first floor windows match the ground floor style. The roof has kneelers and ashlar gable copings, and a stone end stack is located on the right. A two-storey bow window has been added to the left return of the property.
